map map Christensen Softball Field 15 Christensen Memorial Field is the home of the Saints softball program. Studio Angelico 4 Studio Angelico houses the Art Department as well as the Klemm Gallery. It has classrooms and offices. Dominican Hall 8 This modern facility serves many purposes. It conducts many community and University events, and includes the cozy Rueckert Auditorium. It also houses the Office of Information Technology and various other office and classroom space. Performing Arts Center 3 Performing Arts Center Built in 1974, the Verheyden Performing Arts Center houses Francoeur Theater and additional classrooms and offices. O'Laughlin Stadium and Dawson Field 1 Men's and women's soccer, men's and women's track & field, men's and women's lacrosse and the football team conduct home contests on Dr. Mike and Lynne Dawson Field at O'Laughlin Stadium. Dawson Field features FieldTurf and the 400-meter track surface is Olympic caliber. There is seating for more than 3,000 fans, a concession stand and a six-segment press box area that houses media, coaches and the President's Box. Mary & Sash Spencer Athletic Complex 21 The state-of-the-art Mary and Sash Spencer Athletic Complex was completed in 2012 and features the Boyse Fitness Center, locker rooms, a training room, conference rooms, coaches offices and an elevator connecting the first floor to the O'Laughlin Stadium press box. Graduate College Office 2 On the west end of campus, this facility houses the Graduate College offices. McLaughlin University Center 22 The $9.1 million McLaughlin University Center was completed in August 2013. The 34,000 square-foot student and community facility houses the University's dining service, which includes a Mongolian-style grill, a snack shop featuring Starbucks coffee and the Barnes & Noble College Bookstore. "The Hub," which housed several student-focused offices, is located on the second floor. There are also several meeting rooms for University and community use. Campus Village Apartments 23 Campus Village allows students to live on-campus while being able to live in a more traditional apartment setting. The village houses 154 students, and includes private bedrooms and bathrooms, a full kitchen, satellite TV and wireless internet capability. Ledwidge Hall 9 Ledwidge Hall is a residence hall that also houses the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Campus Safety, Health Center, Counseling Center, the Online Learning Programs and the Welcome Center. It also sports a ballroom and lobby area for student use. Archangelus Hall 10 Archangelus Hall was completed in 1938 and is a primary residence hall. It features a ballroom that is used by SHU's cheer and dance teams. Sage Union 12 One of the oldest buildings on campus, Sage Union has served many roles for the University over the years, including music and theater hall, gymnasium, bookstore and student union. It currently houses several offices as well as the marching band room. Trinity Gardens 11 The heart of campus, beautiful Trinity Gardens is a place to study, eat lunch or just enjoy a sunny afternoon. map_thumb_trinity.jpg Benincasa Dining Hall 5 Formerly the dining hall, historic Benincasa Hall was renovated in 2014 and is an air-conditioned, state-of-the-art banquet and reception facility for University and community use. Sacred Heart Hall 13 Sacred Heart Hall is a Michigan Historic Site built in 1922. It houses administration and faculty offices, including the President's Office. Science Building 7 Summary: This building houses many classrooms and faculty offices. Siena Heights Library 6 Located on the third floor of the science-library building, the Library was built in 1956 and expanded in 1981. St. Dominic Chapel 14 Formerly Lumen Ecclesiae Chapel, the chapel was recently renamed for the founder of the Dominican Order. Mass is conducted each Sunday during the academic year as well as on weekdays at various times. Fieldhouse 16 The men's and women's basketball teams and men's and women's volleyball teams -- play their home matches on Fred Smith Court in the Siena Heights Fieldhouse. The fieldhouse also features three practice courts, a 200-meter track and seating for more than 2,000 patrons. It also houses athletics department offices, the Dawson Fitness Center, locker rooms and a training room. Baseball Field 19 The baseball field was completed in the fall of 2011 and features a turf infield and natural grass outfield, stadium-style seating and a press box facility. Nursing Building 17 This state-of-the-art facility houses the Nursing Division, and features classrooms, offices and a nursing training lab.
