The project coordinator is responsible for carrying out the Department of Justice grant awarded to Siena Heights University by the Office of Violence Against Women (OVW).
The project coordinator will coordinate Siena Heights University’s Coordinated Community Response team (CCR) including organizations both internal and external to the institution. The grant program coordinator’s primary role is to oversee the project through the planning and implementation phases, coordinate the work of the CCR team, and ensure the project achieves its stated goals. The grant has emphasis on preventing and responding to sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking (SDDVS). The project coordinator will work closely with the designated OVW Technical Assistance (TA) providers throughout the grant period, participate in all grantee orientation training, and serve as the central point of contact for all project activities related to this grant.
Bachelor’s degree required. Previous experience with grant administration, advocacy around SDDVS, and experience in higher education preferred. Must be available to travel to trainings and related grant meetings throughout the duration of the grant. Requires excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and oversee a variety of responsibilities, and meet requirements of grant administration. Requires the ability to perform project management tasks including scheduling and overseeing related activities.
