Applying to Siena Heights University is easy. Depending on your preference, you can Apply Online, Request More Information or contact one of our Admissions Representatives
Undergraduate Admissions Requirements (Adrian Campus)
  Applicant Type Required Documents Apply
  First Time Freshman Students attending college for the first time must have a minimum high school cumulative GPA of 2.5 and an ACT composite score of 18 or higher to be eligible for regular admission to the University. ACT scores are not required for students who have graduated from high school two or more years prior to enrollment at Siena Heights University.


  Transfer Students Transfer Students must be in good academic and personal standing at prior institutions, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale and have 12 semester hours of transferable credit. Students with fewer than 12 semester hours of transferable credit will follow the first time freshman admissions criteria. For additional information reference the Transfer Equivalancy Guide.

Minimum 3.0 GPA from an accredited institution of higher education required.

  • Current Resume
  • Application Essays
  • All Post-Secondary Transcripts
  • 3 Letters of Reference
  • Conviction Disclosure Form
  • Copy of Teaching Certificate required for
    • Graduate Teacher Education applicants (optional for Montessori, Math Education with Technology, and TESOL concentrations)
    • School Counseling (applicants seeking NT endorsement)
    • Educational Leadership

A personal interview is required for all Counselor Education and Leadership applicants.
