Spanish Program Coordinator
Instructor of Spanish

“The Siena Heights Spanish program is unique from other programs because our students receive many perspectives about the latino world. The instructors serve as guides, mentors and coaches to help our students become multilingual and multicultural. Students are taught by faculty who have either lived or traveled extensively in Spanish speaking countries. In addition, we offer a personalized study-abroad program that is tailored to students’ individual needs and abilities.”

Teaching Philosophy

As a professional educator, I am committed to academic excellence and dedicated to offering a dynamic teaching style that communicates my passsion for Spanish language and culture. I believe that it is necessary to integrate culture with language instruction, and that the pinnacle of such instruction is studying abroad. For me, the most important aspect of my profession is empowering students for academic and personal success both in and outside the classroom. At Siena, I am able to focus on each student and ensure that s/he has all the tools necessary to fullfill his/her potential.
