Witty Comedy Will be In Francoeur Theatre

Theatre Siena will present the Neil Simon play “Fools” Feb. 21-23 in Francoeur Theatre on the campus of Siena Heights University.

Directed by SHU Professor of Theatre Doug Miller, “Fools”  is a witty comedy. Leon Tolchinsky has landed a terrific teaching job in an idyllic Russian hamlet. When Leon arrives, he finds the town has been cursed with chronic stupidity for 200 years and it’s his job to break the curse. As well as idiocy, the people of Kulyenchikov are also incapable of loving. Leon has fallen in love with a girl so stupid that she has only recently learned how to sit down. Can he break the curse and get the girl? You must see this wonderful and witty comedy to find out.

Tickets are $7 for general admission and $5 for Siena students and staff. Show times are at 8 p.m. each day.
