Delta College and Siena Heights University formalized an agreement allowing Delta graduates to complete their bachelor’s degree online through SHU’s Distance Learning Programs. Officials from both institutions finalized the articulation agreement during a June 11 press conference on the Delta College campus.

“Articulation agreements provide an easy transition for Delta College students to continue pursuing their education,” said Delta College President Dr. Jean Goodnow. “Many of our students are busy, working adults looking to advance their career while balancing their other responsibilities. I'm delighted that through this partnership we're able to offer those students these degree options delivered in a convenient online way.”

“We are pleased to offer Delta College graduates the opportunity to complete their bachelor’s degree online with Siena Heights University,” said SHU President Sister Peg Albert, OP, PhD. “We are excited about this collaboration with Delta College.”

This articulation agreement is designed to provide practicing professionals with the following online degree opportunities:

  • The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree builds on the AAS major Delta students have completed through college study, work experience and/or training. Degrees are available in allied health, public safety, technical and other specialized occupational fields.
  • The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree is designed for business professionals who have completed either an applied business program or a traditional “2 plus 2” business program.
  • The Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies degree is available for those who have significant college credit in a variety of academic disciplines. A major is established through the credits students have earned and/or will earn in the four different academic disciplines of humanities, natural science/mathematics, social sciences and professional studies.
