Saints tie with Spring Arbor; advance to NAIA Nationals; Parker finishes second overall

The Siena Heights women’s cross country team won a share of the Region VIII Cross Country title on Saturday at Upland, Ind. As a team the Saints tied with Spring Arbor University for first place and took home a share of the title. This victory marks the first ever regional title for their 23 year veteran Head Coach Don Kleinow. By winning the meet the Saints entire team automatically advances to the 27th annual NAIA Nationals Nov. 18th in Louisville, Ky.

The Saints were led by 2005 NAIA All-American senior Krishawna Parker. krishawna-parker.jpg
