Parker Leads Saints to 10th Place in Nation

Senior earns her third NAIA All-American honor; Deo also an All-American for SHU Men

Led by three-time All-American Krishawna Parker, the Siena Heights University Women's Cross Country team placed 10th in the nation with their performance at the NAIA National Championships Nov. 18. 

The Saints scored 351 points en route to their best finish at a national meet in school history.  Leading the way for the Saints was Parker (Detroit/Crockett), who finished in 15th place in 18:32.35, earning First Team All-American accolades. 

Freshman Rachel Ham (Hudson) followed up with a 51st place finish, followed closely by fellow freshman Kailah Gerig (Adrian/Sand Creek) finishing in 56th. Another freshman, Jennifer Belair (Erie) finished in 97th, while sophomore Kim Cramer (Pittsford) finished in 132nd to account for the Saints total score.  There were 268 runners in the race. 

Parker becomes only the second student-athlete, and the first female student-athlete at Siena Heights, to earn All-American status in cross country for three years. For complete team results, please click on the link below:

Robert Deo Earns All-American Honors in Men's Race

Siena Heights Junior Robert Deo earned recognition as a first team All-American at the NAIA National Cross Country Championships Nov. 18. 

Deo, from Hudson, Mich., ran the course in a time of 25:21.40, good for a 19th place finish.  He was the lone runner to race from Siena Heights in the 255-runner field. Deo becomes the 6th male cross country All-American in Siena Heights history. For complete race results, please click the link below:
