Winterfest on the Heights Jan. 31

First-Time Event Meant to Engage Alumni, Community

Siena Heights University’s Office of Alumni Relations and the SHU Alumni Association are hosting “Winterfest on the Heights,” an alumni/student/community outreach day, Jan. 31, 2009, on the Adrian campus.


A first-time event meant to engage alumni and the community, Winterfest will have a day filled with activities and events. Before the 7:30 p.m. men’s basketball game between Siena Heights and conference rival Aquinas College, there will be a tailgate supper in the Fieldhouse at 5:30 p.m. Those attending the game will also get a chance to meet SHU’s new mascot, Halo. Tickets for the basketball game are $5 for adults, $3 for children under age 12.


There will also be the world premiere youth theater production of “Cafeteria Clash” performing at 7 p.m. in Francoeur Theatre. Tickets for the theater event are $8 for adults, $6 for students. For more information, call 517-264-7840.


Earlier in the day, the SHU Admissions office will host a Siena Spotlight Day for prospective students and their families from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information about Spotlight Day, please call 1-800-521-0009 or 517-264-7180.


There will also be Mass for the entire community at 4:30 p.m. in Lumen Ecclesiae Chapel.
