Creative Stages Summer Arts Camp 2015

The Creative Stages Summer Arts Camp is scheduled from June 15-26 on the Adrian campus. This year’s theme is “Heroes: Community, Historical, Fictional and Super.”

Arts Immersion Camp (Grades 1-12)

9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday
$85 per child; $160 for two children; $250 for three more
SHU’s Arts Immersion Camp offers a daily adventure in the arts, with opportunities to engage in and learn through an array of creative arts experiences, including music, movement, drama and visual arts. SHU’s nationally recognized programs are designed to support the “process” of art making with emphasis placed on creative/collaborative work that allows for positive social interactions and personal growth for every participant. The camp will culminate with a “Celebration of the Arts” on June 26 with an opportunity for participants to bring family and friends to join in a variety of creative experiences. 

Pre-school Session (ages 4-5)

9:30-11 a.m. Monday-Friday
Week One (June 15-19):  $40 (Storybook Heroes)

Week Two (June 22-26):  $40 (Fantastical Heroes)
Two Weeks (June 15-26): $75

Musical Theater Workshop (Grades 7-12)

1-4 p.m. Monday-Friday
$85 per child; $160 for two children; $250 for three more

This acting technique and musical theater camp offers teens intensive work in a conservatory-like setting. Each day participants will engage in innovative approaches to performance and further develop their personal abilities for the stage. 

Participants must be paid for at the time of registration in order to reserve a place in the class.
