The Art Department at Siena Heights University will host its biennial Promising Artists Day Friday, Oct. 30, 2009.
Promising Artists Day is a day of workshops designed for high school juniors and seniors to encourage them to consider pursuing a degree in art or art history at Siena Heights' Adrian campus.
For seniors, one of the workshops is a portfolio review for a possible merit scholarship to study art at Siena Heights.
There is a nominal fee for each participant to cover the cost of a bag lunch.
