Promising Artists Day Oct. 30

SHU Art Department Encourages High School Juniors and Seniors to Attend

The Art Department at Siena Heights University will host its biennial Promising Artists Day Friday, Oct. 30, 2009.

Promising Artists Day is a day of workshops designed for high school juniors and seniors to encourage them to consider pursuing a degree in art or art history at Siena Heights' Adrian campus.

For seniors, one of the workshops is a portfolio review for a possible merit scholarship to study art at Siena Heights.

There is a nominal fee for each participant to cover the cost of a bag lunch.

For those prospective art students unable to attend PAD, a personal tour of SHU's art building, Studio Angelico, can be provided by appointment. Also listed below are alternative dates for scholarship portfolio reviews:
