World Premiere of “No Nonsense, Please!” Feb. 2-4

Humor-Filled Play Focuses on Struggles of Children Growing Up in the 21st Century

The world premiere of “No Nonsense, Please!” is set to take the stage Feb. 2-4 in Francoeur Theatre on the campus of Siena Heights University.

Can you lose your imagination? Can you forget how to “play?” Can the Victorian nonsense poet Edward Lear (author of “The Owl and the Pussycat”) offer anything to today’s young people? These questions, and more, will be explored as you follow the adventures of three children struggling with “growing up” in the 21st century.

Written and directed by Siena Heights Associate Professor of Theatre and Speech Communication Kerry Graves, this play is filled with humor and fantasy as well as drama and will engage the entire family.

Curtain times are at 7 p.m. Feb. 2 and Feb. 3, and at 2 p.m. Feb. 4. Ticket prices are $7 for adults, $5 for Siena Heights University students and staff.
