High School Band Day Oct. 27

Area high school band members are invited to play with the Siena Heights University Marching Band for its seventh annual Band Day Oct. 27.

Band Day coincides with the Saints’ football game against Marian University and is open to not only high school band instrumentalists, but also to color guard members and twirlers.

Registration begins with check in at 7 a.m. in the Band Room of the new Spencer Performing Arts Center. The program includes a rehearsal, field practice, dinner and performance before and during the 1 p.m. football game in O’Laughlin Stadium.

Students will perform a variety of popular music on field and in the stands. Music will be available online for students upon registration.

The registration fee of $15 also includes a T-shirt, lunch, water and a snack. Those attending should bring their own instruments/equipment. Please wear jeans and tennis shoes. All students will be provided a T-shirt to wear during the game. Students may also want to bring warm weather and/or rain gear. Payments will be made upon arrival.
