Area high school band members are invited to play with the Siena Heights University Marching Band for its sixth annual Band Day Sept. 23.
The Band Day coincides with the Saints’ football game against St. Francis (Ill.) University and is open to not only band members, but also to high school color guard members and twirlers. Registration begins with check in at 7 a.m. in Sage Hall. The program includes a rehearsal, field practice, dinner and performance before and during the 1 p.m. football game in O’Laughlin Stadium. Students will perform a variety of popular music on field and in the stands. Music will be available online for students upon registration.
The registration fee of $15 also includes a T-shirt, dinner, water and a snack. Those attending should bring their own instruments/equipment. Please wear jeans and tennis shoes. All students will be provided a T-shirt to wear during the game. Students may also want to bring warm weather and/or rain gear.
