Siena Heights Named One of Michigan's 'Most Affordable'
Thursday, June 13, 2013 by Doug

Siena Heights University was only one of five private institutions included in The College Database’s list of colleges and universities in Michigan that offer the best financial return on investment.

The public and private institutions on the list were included because they have annual tuition rates near or under $20,000, and new graduates who earn close to $40,000 or more per year, on average. SHU students enter the workforce earning an estimated $39,600 per year after graduation, ranking it among the most financially effective of all Michigan post-secondary schools.

“The College Database project was created to recognize outstanding schools throughout the country that also offer quality and affordable degree programs, said Katrina Silberstein, spokesperson for The College Database. “We found through our research that Siena Heights University does that exceedingly well. We are proud to feature SHU on The College Database and feature the university in our 20-40 Club.”

“In these challenging economic times we are proud to be identified as one of Michigan’s Most Affordable universities, reinforcing Siena’s value and commitment to making quality higher education accessible to all qualified students,” said SHU Vice President of Enrollment Management George Wolf.
