Federal Direct Plus
Federal Direct Plus loans are offered to the parents of undergraduate dependent students. These loans are the financial responsibility of the parent and are funded by the federal government.
Alternative student loans are offered by commercial lending institutions. These loans are credit-based and could require a cosigner.
