The U.S. News and World Report recognized Siena Heights University in its 2019 Best Online Bachelor's Programs rankings. SHU's Online Learning Programs were ranked as the best in Michigan for the third consecutive year and also tied for 29th place nationally. SHU has offered online bachelor's degree programs since 2004.
Siena Heights was also ranked first in student engagement, having the maximum score of 100 in the magazine’s methodology. SHU also had the top faculty credentials and training rank in the nation with a perfect 100 score, according to the publication.
SHU’s undergraduate Online Learning Program also has the nation’s second highest graduation rate among private institutions and was fifth overall in a report released by the U.S. News and World Report. This is the second consecutive year Siena Heights has made the list.
SHU’s Online Learning Program made the U.S. News and World Report’s “Short List” of top 10 colleges or universities that had the highest six-year completion rates based on students who entered in 2008-09.
Also in 2019, Siena Heights was tied for 23rd in the nation for having the Best Online Bachelor's Program for Veterans, according to the U.S. News and World Report.

Designed for adult students, undergraduate online education programs offer flexible eight-week formats and blended-online graduate programs offer many courses in a 10-week delivery format. Courses are taught by full-time and/or adjunct faculty with extensive “real-world” experience. In addition, students enrolled in our program have access to numerous resources online (and in-person) including personal academic advising/ degree planning, financial aid, online library database and support, student accounts and technical support.
