Siena Heights Ranked 17th in 2020 Best Christian Colleges in the U.S. Poll

Siena Heights University was ranked 17th in the Best Christian Colleges in the U.S. poll conducted by study.com.

Out of 473 Christian colleges and universities ranked in 2020, study.com credited Siena Heights’ student/faculty ratio and its value as factors in its ranking. It also cited SHU’s nationally ranked and established Online Program as well as its Theological Studies Program with the Diocese of Lansing.

“We are honored to make this list, and this ranking reaffirms the values and mission that we live by at Siena Heights,” said SHU President Sister Peg Albert, OP, PhD. “As we celebrate our 100th anniversary, we will continue to serve and welcome students from all backgrounds and faiths in the Dominican Catholic tradition in which we were founded.”

According to study.com, it analyzed institutions for student success measures such as retention and graduation rates. It also looked for those that had flexible learning options to meet the needs of both traditional and non-traditional students. The poll is based on data from the National Center for Education Statistics and the Department of Education’s College Scorecard tool, according to study.com.
